1             Review of the 12th PLANTA user forum

The 12th PLANTA user forum took place this year on May 27 and 28 in Novotel Karlsruhe City.

Once again, the forum offered customers of PLANTA Projektmanagement-Systeme GmbH interesting presentations highlighting customers’ use of PLANTA products from different perspectives. Ursula Freyaldenhofen and Bruno Schoel from Deutsche Post AG spoke about effective portfolio management with PPPM, and Prof. Dr. Hasso Reschke (Institute for Project Management) gave a talk on project management in times of crisis. On the second day, Annette Benz from Metabo reported on the successful implementation of PPMS in her company. Romeo Koch and Daniel Hack (Construction Department of the Canton of Zurich) also described how to go from 0 to 100 in 15 minutes with PPMS.

In a number of presentations, PLANTA employees described the developments in Release 3.8 and Release 390 and provided best practice examples from real situations.

Customers were able to see Release 3.8.0.5 and a demo version of Release 390 in action at the demo counters.

The evening event this year was held at the Badisch Brauhaus, where guests were served up a thriller over dinner. Here, too, guests were able to share and discuss information.

Due to the positive feedback, PLANTA will be inviting its customers to another forum next year. Planned dates: May 19 and 20, 2010.
