PLANTA Projektmanagement-Systeme GmbH is
one of the leading providers of enterprise project management
software on the European market. PLANTA
offers cross-industry software solutions for enterprise-wide project management. The
first version of multiproject management software PPMS was developed in 1980 as
part of a BMFT research project at the University of Karlsruhe.
Today, PLANTA software is used by around
40,000 people and around 375 company licenses, primarily in Germany, Switzerland
and other European countries. Application areas include primarily IT and
organizational departments, research and development departments, mechanical
and plant engineering and controlling departments of midsize and large
companies (approx. 20-5000+ users).
PLANTA provides its customers with a
comprehensive software and services offering, from consultancy and planning
through to implementation and support after implementation of the system in the
company. For further development of its products, PLANTA is in close contact
with its customers. Product development is carried out in our headquarters in
Karlsruhe.

As all the components of our project
management software are integrated in a standardized software environment and database
and can be accessed when required in every other subsystem, a standardized
Reporting System
is available.
As a result, there is no need for
interfaces between different software systems, and data does not have to be
