PLANTA Project Management PPMS:
Highlight at Metabo certification audit
During the current certification audit
at Metabowerke GmbH, PPMS was specifically praised and was named as one of
four highlights. In an earlier audit, project management and in particular
the manually controlled traffic light indications for projects were
criticized.
On January 1, 2009, Metabo replaced
individual project management in the departments using MS Project and MS
Excel with the PPMS multi-project management system from PLANTA. The
positive rating in the current audit and the overview of the status of all
current development projects (up to 100 in parallel) at Metabo made
possible by PPMS are confirmation of the success of the software
implementation.

Review of the 12th PLANTA user forum
The 12th PLANTA user forum took place
this year on May 27 and 28 in Novotel Karlsruhe City. Once again, the forum
offered customers of PLANTA Projektmanagement-Systeme GmbH interesting
presentations highlighting customers’ use of PLANTA products from
different perspectives.

AVAT implements PLANTA project management
PPMS in record time
Prior to the introduction of a
multi-project management system, AVAT Automation GmbH was only able to
carry out short-term resource planning, and effects between projects were
not identified until a late stage. Planned and actual data had to be merged
manually.
After a detailed specification had been
created and the project selected, the transfer of existing requirements to
the technical concept and implementation of the new system took just 3.5
months.
